On 19 March 2008 the Honorary Committee for Commemorating the 500th Anniversary of the Birth of Primož Trubar met for its second session at Trubar's house in Raščica. The hosts of the meeting presented a rich programme of events to mark the Year of Trubar, which complements the established set of activities in honour of the great man.

On this occasion, a trilingual booklet (in Slovene, English and German) on the Year of Trubar was presented by the Coordinating Committee for State Celebrations. The booklet includes a timeline of Trubar's life and work, a comprehensive list of events held throughout the year and visual material, and thus offers a valuable presentation of Trubar and his heritage. The booklet is also available at www.trubar2008.si. When the full version of the web site will be fully functioning it will offer an insight into Trubar's time and an exhaustive presentation of the events held on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of his birth.

At the session, the members of the Honorary Committee had the opportunity to see the latest acquisition of the National and University Library in Ljubljana – the original of Trubar's translation of the final part of the New Testament, Noviga testamenta posledni dejl.
