The 32 members of New Hope, who come from five churches in California, will again return to Slovenia for the fifth time.  This year's tour, which will be from October 19th to 30th, is notable in the fact that 15 Slovenes will be part of the production. 

The cast of New Hope is comprised of teenagers, college students and adults, who present a production which includes drama, black Gospel music and modern music.  By singing most of the concert in the Slovene language, New Hope shows great respect to the Slovene nation and language; they study proper pronunciation of Slovene for many months.  The tour will happen right before the Day of the Reformation, and is a bridge of friendship between the two cultures. 

This year’s concert celebrates the life and heritage of Primož Trubar through drama and music in the year of  500th anniversary of the birth of Primož Trubar.

In past years thousands of Slovenes have attended their concerts, and many more saw the production on national television.

- 28.20. Kranj – Prešernovo gledališče 19.00
- 29.10. Ljubljana – Slovenska filharmonija 19.00
